first day of camp finally came.13 of us from Racine and charlotte from big fish was joine by 3 women from jersey.brand new paddlers.tom will be coming in tomorrow.
andrew will be coaching us this year.lot's of intl.paddling experience as a DB paddler and coach.
4 min drills and 2 min drills was the theme of the morning session.
jersey girls struggled a bit.alittle breezy and warm.cannot complain.
listened to a lecture about fund raising.learned a few tips from julie.had lunch and ice packs on shoulders for some,biofreeze for my lats.off for a nap.more paddling this pm.

Arashi Dragon Boat Racing (pronounced are-a-she) is Japanese for "STORM". Arashi is a competitive traveling team of the Racine Dragon Boat Club, 2009 is our first year together and we are doing well.
